Meet Lynne:
SPEAKER: An international speaker, teacher, and workshop leader for more than three decades, Lynne is known for her personable style that reaches a variety of audiences.
Lynne is a trained speaker with Stonecroft ministries and a 2018 Voice of Hope with the American Cancer Society. She serves as a story coach for Survivors Tell a Real Story (STARS) at Scottsdale Theater of Performing Arts. Lynne has also served on the faculty at several writers’ conferences.
AUTHOR: Lynne is the author of Under a Desert Sky: Redefining Hope, Beauty, and Faith in the Hardest Places. She is a contributing author to sixteen books with Guideposts Publications, including the annual Walking in Grace devotional, formerly known as Daily Guideposts. (Four more contributing books will be released later in 2024.)
Lynne has been featured in several newspapers and magazines, including Guideposts Magazine with a readership of over two million.
Lynne’s desert poetry will be displayed as part of Chandler/Tullamore Sister Cities’ Cultural Project, 2024-2025. The artistic collaboration will be featured at the Esker Art Center in Tullamore, Ireland in July – August 2024 and at the Chandler Arizona Museum in March - April 2025.
FAMILY: Lynne and her husband, Mayor Kevin Hartke, have pastored a church in Chandler, Arizona for over 35 years. Avid hikers, they have a few tales to share about rattlesnakes and Gila monsters while enjoying their cabin in an old-growth forest in northern Arizona. They have four grown children and four grandchildren.
