If You Were God

If you were God and could create anything you wanted with just a spoken word, what would you choose?

My co-teacher asked this question to a small group of elementary kids in our A World of Music class. I saw one girl's eyes grow huge with wonder. What would she choose? A rainbow? Elephants? Mount Everest? The Milky Way?

"Waffles!" she shouted.

Yep, you read that right. Given a galactical variety to pick from, Maci wants waffles. A big, tall stack with melting butter and Mrs Butterworth's dripping from every little square.

Leave it to a kid to be practical. Who wants to create the world on an empty stomach?

Personally, I think I'd go for bacon.
