Waiting to Be Inspired?

Do you ever wait to do something only when you feel inspired?

Exercise?

Spend time with God?

Do an unpleasant task? Work on a project?

I used to be that way about my writing - when I was inspired, I wrote.

I didn't write very often.

Now I schedule writing on my calendar, several days a week. I sit down to write to see what is waiting inside me to be written. That shift has made all the difference.
